Hiring Owner-Operators (OTR) (53FT DRY VAN) (Home weekends)

Company Name: EDJ Trucking, Inc. (MC#: 654919) (Small family-owned company, in business for 17 years, since 2008)
Currently gross roughly $4000-$7000/week for Owner-Operators.
Pay/Compensation structure:
Option#1: 83% (Standard) Gross Pay Out. (With Standard Pay, payments are paid 2 weeks later than the Quick-Pay option, on Fridays.)
Option#2: 80% (Quick-Pay) Gross Pay Out. (With Quick-Pay, payments are made same week, every week, on Fridays.)
Deductions: ***Our company has only 2 minimal weekly fees/deductions: *$100.00/weekly trailer fee deduction, 53FT Plate Trailer Dry Van will be provided. *$170.00/weekly Insurance fee deduction. (This includes both Liability, Cargo Insurance Coverage, Physical damage for our trailers, & General Liability). ***
*** Escrow Deduction: $1,000.00 from first settlement. (This applies ONLY if Quick-Pay is chosen as a payment option; Escrow does not apply if Standard payment is chosen as an option.) ***
We offer the following:
Pay is protected by the company to the Owner-Operators, in the event of the following events occurring:
· If a broker goes bankrupt, EDJ Trucking will cover the loss and still pay the Owner-Operator the agreed upon confirmation rate regardless.
· If a double broker scam occurs, EDJ Trucking will cover the loss and still pay the Owner-Operator the agreed upon confirmation rate regardless.
· If a broker delays payment, past the agreed payment terms, EDJ Trucking will still pay the Owner-Operators on time. (Based on whichever payment option plan is chosen listed above and is selected on the lease agreement.)
* Plate & IFTA programs are both available, for additional cost.
* Dispatchers are located from the United States. Each dispatcher has been with our company for over 8+ years and has great expertise in the field of dispatching. Multilingual dispatchers available who speak: ENGLISH, LITHUANIAN, RUSSIAN, and POLISH.
* 80% Midwest loads (NO Northeast or West Coast loads) (Most trucks choose to stay regional Midwest or Southern Belt or a combination of both)
* Clean inspection bonuses of $100.00/per inspection; $100.00 deduction per each inspection with violations/warnings.
* 100% Driver NO touch. (Driver can choose certain loads which require driver-assist, for extra $, at their discretion.)
* We use "Motive", for our ELD device. Costs: $360/annually (Deducted from 1st check/Non-refundable) (Pro-rated from July 27th {This is the end date of our contract & the new contract renewal date for our ELD provider})
* NO forced dispatch.
* All Detention and layover pay is added to the load gross. The % split is calculated accordingly from the entire total.
* Actual confirmations received from the brokers, are sent to the drivers. (Full Transparency)
* We offer fuel cards with rebates. All accumulated rebates & discounts are passed on to the Owner-Operators 100%.
* You can submit your original paperwork via Trip-PAK, FEDEX, UPS, OR USPS weekly, however you prefer.
* Payments made via ACH direct deposit.
* No trailer exchange (1 Trailer assigned per Owner-Operator. Treat it as if it were your own.)
* All trailers are models 2017-2023, Plate Trailers (53 ft dry vans, ALL FOOD GRADE).
*All trailer repairs and maintenance are covered by EDJ Trucking, Inc. (No expenses to the driver. The only exception would be driver caused damages.)
* Weekends OFF, every weekend, if preferred. Most Owner-Operators select to do their restarts on the weekends at home.
*Additional weekend work available, at driver’s discretion, if interested to make extra money.
